On really low notes there is this one spot in my ceiling that rattles.  How hard is it to take the ceiling down to work on the rattles?  Anyone ever done it or have advice/instructions?

Thanks!

It is a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder.  I have dynamatted the doors and hatch, but not the ceiling - worried that it will be hard to remove the ceiling liner (or whatever you want to call it)

its a good day job to do the roof of the pathfinder, i did my 97 pathy, it definately helps to have 2 hands.  Check to be shure your roof rack rails are tight too, , my roof flexed majorly and the rails helped keep it from flexing.

so to remove the ceiling what steps should I follow.

remove the dome lamps and overhead console, and then the trim pieces - how does the roof actually attach?

Once you have the panels around the sides on the top removed, and dome light/light consol, just pull and it will pop down.  Theres alot of panel pulling in the rear to get at it.
