i'm hooking up an amp to 4 Alpine SPS-170A installed in my doors, and i don't know what amp to use on them. does anyone have any preferences ($100-$150) and i'm hooking up 2 Alpine Type-R's (SWR 1022D) with a Lanzar Vibe 228. Will I have to get a new alternator? my stock alternator runs @ 90 amps and this is going in my 95 Grand Cherokee w/ Infinity System.  Also, if anyone has preferences on better amps, that'd be greatly appreciated

i would use that vibe amp on the mids and buy a diff sub amp. it has a rms of 300 watts and thats over rated. online i found that amp for $65.00. you could pick up a class d mtx mxa 4001 400 watts rms on ebay for about $130.00 or a mxa 8001 800 rms for about $230.00 i dont know much about the mxa line. but those are small price tags. and yes upgrade your alt.
