Here is a link to a couple of pics that show how you customers (and salespeople) are so easily led astray by advertising and forums in general. It is a who makes who kind of comparison. It should be noted that this is not a new problem as it has been happening for years. Most of the thread starts to make sense at the picture part.

PS. If you dislike Lanzar but love Soundstream, you had best take a real good look here.

he he, yes indeedie. It's happening more and more and is one reason why I will no longer support Nakamichi as they are now made in China on their Aiwa assembly line. Soundstream used to be a very good brand until they were taken over by Power Acoustik. In the images on the other site, it's interesting that the Lanzar appears to have the better build quality!

Wow I had heard rumors, but dang! the Lanzar 4000d is the SOundstream XXX-6500????? hmmmm I wonder how that are rated by usaci hehe

wow are there eny realy high quality brands that have this same thing happening like zapco, eclipse and such if so please tell me so i can jump on it. is this happening with the specily made high powerd high quality amps and sub that are out there. An interesting comparison -- posted image.

Soundzar would so sell to the Audiobahn kids. Maybe they can lease some chrome flames.

hey hey now dont go bashing the flames. they look real good in my carbonfibre/plexiglass box. Hit real hard too just terrible sound quality and they blow really easily if you go over the RMS rating. I dont mind them though. My JL 10W1v2 seem to hit a lot harder but i have 6 of them so that might be why.
