i'm wanting to install an autopage 650 plus in a 93 jeep cherokee. in my install manual, in order for me too use the hood pin switch with the alarm i must use a diode inline with the negitive safety wire and a diode inline with the alarm instant trigger. in the manual it doesn't list what diode, but earlier in the manaul it does list a diode (IN4003). my question is, do i use the IN4003 with the hood pin or another type?

1N4001 thru 1N4007   they are all the same 1 amp diode, only the voltage rating changes, and we only use them for 12 volts so buy whatever you can get cheaply.....
