have decided on these bad boys as my woofer for an '03 cavalier z24.  the back seats are coming out and the are being loaded into a folded horn design box which is being built for me.  Now the question of amplification.  Here are a few choices, any input from you guys would be of great help since many of you seem to be very knoledgeable and ive been out of the scene for a decade.  Here are some amps i was thinking about.

2 x  hi fonics colossus-----1 x  crossfire v4000d-----1 x  soundstream 6500----- 2 x  visonik 2000T?

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Ouch.. 2 9917s? I hope your not planning on sitting in that car. I know that those crossfire are pretty sturdy amps, and the hifonics arent bad for the price either. I personally went with us amps for my setup and havent been happier, but how much do you plan to push to those?

I thought they stopped making the z24 in 2002? And what is the website for those dd subs?

Any updates? Their website is www.ddaudio.com. Also, a little off topic, but what are your plans powerwise? I ask because I would guess you are going to be pulling a couple hundred amps to really power up those subs.
