WHOA THERE

super n00b to the forum, but plenty of experience.. but it's COLD OUT. to make it a QUICK install instead of using the multimeter all day, anyone able to help me out with the wiring connections for the 1995 taurus with the 3.8l V-6? MAN whoever usu. puts up those diagrams, are they from the directech site? SO NICE! Thanks in advance people.

12 VOLT -YELLOW(5)@IGN SWITCH

IGNITION 1 -RED / LT GREEN

STARTER -WHITE/ PINK

DOME -BLACK/ LT BLUE(+)DRIVER KICK PANEL

PARK LIGHT -BROWN (+)HEAD LIGHT SWITCH OR DRIVER KICK

POWER LOCK-PINK / YELLOW(+)

POWER UNLOCK-PINK/LT GREEN(+) DRIVER KICK PANEL

IF VEHICLE HAS OEM KEYLESS THEN ABOVE DOOR LOCK WIRES NEGATIVE

TACH ON 3.8L-TAN / YELLOW AT IGNITION CONTROL MODULE ON PASSENGER FIREWALL

IGN 2-GRAY YELLOW(2) HEAT/AC

IGN 3-GRAY / YELLOW KEEPS ABS LIGHT OFF

ACC-BLACK/ LT GREEN HEAT AC CONTROLS

2 OF 3 GRAY / YELLOW WIRES LISTED ARE SAME CIRCUIT

BRAKE LIGHT-RED / LT GREEN(+) AT BRAKE PEDAL

Just did a '95 Sable yesterday.

--If you look up under the driver's dash, you'll see a bundle of wires coming in through the firewall. The tan / YELLOW tach wire is in there.

--As long as the car has a steering-column gearshift, the brake wire can also be found near the ignition wires, going into the steering column.
