Does anyone know how to customize and use your own pictures for the iva-d310?

I know you can get different backgrounds for alpine's i-personalize site, but all of the pictures are in their format (*.apn)

Is there anyway to create these?

yea, they say that you can only use the pictures from their website. im not sure how to even go about creating your own in this format.

I've actually done a little work on this in my spare time (what is that?). The files are an MPG video file. I have been able to convert them to a JPG and pull them into Photoshop after using a few different programs. I haven't sucessfully gotten them back into Alpine's proprietary format yet. I think you need to put into a VOB as if you were creating a video DVD and then chane the file extension. I haven't had the time to try it yet.
