kicker warranty?

hey u guys i just recently bought 4 subs off my friend that he purchased refurbished.  they worked for me and i have some how managed to blow one and the tinsel leads snapped on a few. can these be repaired? im thinking about just buying brand new ones either online or at a local dealer. would u guys happen to know like the longest warrenty on i could get on these subs? thanks

refurbs, have a 90 day warranty....but we have never blown a refurb,    if you call kicker and give them the serial #'s they might be able to do something for you, they take good care of thier customers.....You will have to have the serial # cards that came with the subs thought, the actualy serial #'s are inside the magnet plates by the voice coil.

ya i think i would like to go new are there any online sites u would recommend? at ikesound.com i can get them for 220 a piece and still get a year warrenty.

honestly All I buy is the refurbs, they do better in compitition use form my testing.    I order all mine from Hifisoundconnection.com
They are an authorized kicker refurb seller, and they come with a waranty, you might want to check them out to see if they have an extended waranty program.....the 2004 L7 12" subs are $300 a pair!     I know we have not blown a sub with less then 1500rms going to it haha
But we have poped a few that we have not broke in at all and burped full tilt at 1500-2000rms

ya do u tihnk with each pair of l7's running to a kx1200.1 i will risk any chance of blowing them? and what do u mean u have poped them ?
