04 Honda Accord blues

try this disconnect both the negative and positive cable on the battery and hold then together for maybe 1 or 2 mintues then put the wires back on and try to start it???

usually you would disconnect for 30 sect then just touch the cables

I'll give those things a try too, but the million dollar question still hasn't been answered for me, CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE LOCATION OF THIS MULTIPLEX MODULE?  PLEASE.....

I had another post on this by the subject of "honda blues", but as the post got longer and longer I think answers were comming in for everything except what I was really asking for.  Million dollar question....  Can anyone tell me the location of the multiplex module(s) on a 2004 Honda Accord is a v6 coupe if that helps out any.

Thanks, Gus.  Anohter question for you.  So, if there is nothing burnt out at the fuse box, ECM, or PCM then I should be fine right?  I pulled all of them and inspected them carefully and nothing was burnt out.  Like I said before the keysense works fine if you put ground to it because it's a neg trigger.  but on its own it's just sitting at pos rest and not triggering when the key is placed into the ignition.  I'm wondering if there is a way to reset that part of it so that I can get everything right with the car.  Does the system somehow need to be recalabrated?

You could have burnt a trace inside the fusebox. If that is the case, good luck opening it up and finding the problem.

Sammy, your not looking at it right. If you are grounding the keysense wire and everything works fine, then the problem has to be what applies the negative to that wire, right? When you put the key in the cylinder it should have a ground on the RED / white wire. If it doesn't do that then the problem ihas to be that switching circuit that gives that ground, right? That would be the ignition switch itself. Think this way too, the keysense rests at positive and turns negative when the key goes in. the path the positive current would have taken was towards the resistance, or the ground from the keysense wire. This gound comes from where? The ignition switch. Unless the keysense input has no ground it just has to be....

Point taken and to tell you the truth I started to pull the circuit box on the ignition to check it out but once I pulled the harness of and found it still had polarity I wrote it off.  I'll check into it.  I guess it pays to go with you first thought!  Since every thing else checked out to be ok mabey this is were I will finally find the problem.

You can do the quick fix on this if you want but make sure that you tell the customer ( unless your the customer ) what has happened. In the event that the car should malfunction because the keysense wire should loose ground while driving, the customer will not come back at you after he/she finds out that you were the cause of this and didn't tell them.
To do a quick fix on this use a relay to trigger to ground from your switch ignition wire.
