2002 galant, program factory remote

sup guys is there a way to program a factory keyless remote to this car and yes it has factory keyless entry 2002 misubishi galant

All you have to do is insert your key into the ignition but leave your key off.
Insert a jumper wire between Pin 1 and Pin 4 on your DLC.
(Pin1 is farthest left on the larger side of the DLC. The DLC is mounted under the driver side dash pointing straight down.)
Once you have the pins shorted immediatly press your hazard switch on and off six times.
Your locks will then unlock then lock.
Press the lock button on your new remote three times in one minute and thats all it takes.
This worked on my 03 so hopefully will work for yours aswell.

thanks for the fast reply but what does the DLC look like how big is it and where exactly is it thanks alot

Sorry it's the diagnostics plug. If you look under the drivers side dash it's the black plug right next to the center console pointing down.
