I've got a customer coming in for a Starter on a 2002 S-10, and he doesnt want the daytime running lights to activate when the unit remote starts, only when he puts the key in. Anyone know how to kill them while it's remote started?

Really easy you just have to supply ground to the parking brake wire before the vehicle starts up.  Make sure the ground lasts the entire time the r/s is on too.

I don't think that will work. I have a friend with an Astro van. Whenever he remote starts it at night his headlights come on. I told him to try leaving the parking brake set and he said that doesn't help.
