I had my system working fine, and it still does, but sometimes when I start the car, the starter will stay engaged, I am using a prostart ct-5000 on a 94 geo metro, i have my tach wire connected to brown on the coil as the site says, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Making sure your tach wire is secure would be the first thing that you should do. Relearning the tach is probably the next best thing to do. Afterward I would check the grounding on the unit. It may have gotten corroded over the years.

I relearned the tach, and checked the ground, I put a meter
on my tach wire and its putting out 12vdc, I thought it was supposed to be around 2-7 vac, any idea why this is happening? Considering it has been working so long now on this wire...

You have to set your mulitmeter to AC instead of DC when you are measuring your tach voltage. Try a different tach wire and see if you getting better results.
