I am looking for remote start and door unlock only with good range.

Is this any good: compustar 1WAM-S

or the autopage 615?

Where can I purchase online?

I prefer the 1wam-s systems. Online you can buy virtually anywhere but you won't get any warranty from Compustar on this if installed by someone other than an authorized installer.

I have installed the Auto-page RS615 and that seems to be a very productive unit, the Compustar is another good unit but i find it a little difficult to install.

Look at the Clifford rsx3.5. Easy install and has been very reliable in my experience. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I'll share my limited knowledge with anyone who can use it, and many thanks to those who share their knowledge with me.

well I know compustar the 1wam-s is good for about 1500 ft you should try the 1wfm-s this one is good for about 5000 ft for a couple buck more.
