Iam installing a crimestopper RS1300 into a 1997 Chevy full size p/u that has oem keyless entry. I have the kit that does not come with remotes, you use your factory remotes. The problem I have is, the wire that is supposed to be hooked up to the negative lock signal wire of factory system. The wiring info I have says it is lt. blue. But hooking it up there, it does not work. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, maybe I have to wire up a relay but I am not sure how to do that.
Can someone help me out here??

What do you mean the wire that is supposed to  be hooked up to the negative lock signal wire?   With OEM keyless entry the door lock system should be Positive not negative.

Am I misunderstanding you?

It says it supposed to be hooked up to the negative lock signal wire on the vehicle, after looking at the wiring info, the truck has positive.
I need to know how I turn it into a negative??
