Ok I know it's the second starter wire for the remote start. But I need an ACC for my mobile video install. Can I get it behind the radio? I'm asking particularly for the 2006 Dodge megacab. Where do I get the accessory wire for powering up something?

Yes, get accessory behind the radio. Acc is pink / YELLOW, constant 12v is gray/red(two side by side), and ground is BLACK/ green(two side by side).

have you ever worked on a mega cab? How do you get the radio out?

Hello 5150azn

Yesterday I finished to install 2006 DODGE RAM QUAD CAB, Here is what I know:

ACC is not located behind RADIO UNIT, your cab has 2 power outlet at center I/P? left side is cigar-lighter, Just behind Cigar Lighter Outlet, you can see Pink / YELLOW wire. this is ACC cable. Removal of Radio is :1 open cup-holder just under power-outlet. there are 2 bolts(7mm head) from openings to center instrument panel.remove these bolt. 2 disengage retainer clips with using plastic trim stick.3 disconnect all wire harness connectors. 4 remve 4 screws from radio Our 2006 Quad Cab has no VSS, they are controlled by CAN-BUS. I hope your CAB is not controlled by CAN-BUS. Good luck! Happy holidays!
