Fuse keeps blowing

Hey guys, the fuse for my RockFord amp keeps blowing. The amp was working fine for months until one day the fuse blew. No biggie, right? So I put in another one and THAT fuse blew as soon as I turned the car on. What do you think the problem is? I don't want to put in a higher rated fuse because the the amp came with a 50 amp fuse which I replaced with a 60 amp fuse. I don't want to risk an electrical fire and the problem has to be somewhere else.

Unplug the sub from the amp. If the fuse blows again when the amp turns on then the amp is probably blown.

Look for any wires that could be grounding out.

NEVER replace a fuse with a larger rating.  NEVER.  It is unsafe.  Did you follow auex's advice?

I'm having the same problem and I have a Fosgate amp aswell. I followed all the instructions given to install the amp and for about 1hr I was thumping with no problems. Then the fuse blew the next day. I installed new fuses and blew out 4 in a row. Whats up with that?

There is something wrong in your amp. Send it in for repair or time to buy a new one.
