I have had 2 vehicles with crimestopper,good for the money.My 05 colorado has a 2016FM love it.My 96 S-10 had a DEI remote start alarm hated that thing,you had to be like 20 yards for the remote,but it was a cheaper model.With DEI products you will get no help as a consumer.I guess time will tell.i am just a newbie so just an opinion.colorado tap the rockies

I have been using and installing Crimestopper for 19 years!  Their remote start products are great, and they have been for the last 5 years or more.  The warranty is as good as it gets as they really stand behind everythign they sell.  DEI, on the other hand is VERY difficult to deal with if you have ANY sort of question or problem.  If properly installed, the Crimestopper stuff is GREAT!Anderson Electronics, Inc.
