i just bought a dvd player head unit and a flip up in dash monitor for my '98 ford explorer sport. the problem is that both of them stacked are about a quarter inch taller than my stock unit. am i going to have to cut into my dash alittle to make it fit? has anybody ever run into this before?

Yup, plain and simple. Tab A does not fit slot B. So either you are going to be doing major, major dash work to the vehicle or you take the two units that you bought back and get a single din all in one unit.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
