I am going to have a CompuStar 1W900FM-S installed on my wife's Accord. It has some factory security system and the dealer said it has a computer chip in the key. Do I need to buy a bypass module for the starter to work? Or can I buy a spare key and hide it close to the ignition column?
Also, if I need the bypass, is there a specific one, or does it not matter who its made by?

Trilogix  PKH2.  We just did a 99 accord today.  Disarm wire in the driver door and PKH2 is the keyless bypass.

Bypass was a PIA to program, but worked great after getting it working.

Ok, so Ive looekd around and found that the PKH2 is actually made by a number of different companies. Is there a difference between them?

Trilogix, bypasskits, expresskits, Omega....  They are all the same.    $40-50 is usually average price for a bypass unit.   Call our store and I can send you one for $45 shipped.  PM for #.
