In my vehicle I have this alarm/remote start installed, and when it is cold in the mornings like -3,or -4 it doesn't want to start it takes abou 6 or 7 trys

The vehicle is a 2005 mustang GT and I am using the 556U from DEI, key in box

If someone can please help that will be appreciated

Is the tach sense hooked up? Also sometimes Ford key codes become weak when its cold. A quick way to identify the problem is to take the key you have in the house and insert it into the cylinder when the RS is activated. If the car starts the problem is with the key in the bypass.

yep the tach is hooked up, and has been for the past 3 months,

the remote start has worked perfectly for the 3 months it has been in the vehicle, untill it has gotten cold out, but then when it warms up in the middle of the day it works fine

yah I will try what you suggested, tomorrow morning

thanks for the reply
