Hey guys...I put a Viper 160xvr in a 97 geo tracker. I hooked up the parking light wire to the green negative parking light wire, at the light switch like directedtechs said to do. I have the viper jumpered to negative parking light and the parking lights do not work. Anyone run into this problem before and know whats up?? THANKS!

that is the right wire you have there, somecars just don't like them hooked up

I have ran across a few cars that don't like negative parklights, a couple of civics I have done, and so on, maybe try the positive wire

It also could be someother things wrong

did you meter this wire to ascertain that it is indeed the negative trigger for parklights?  if it is you may have to use a relay to send a better ground... if it meters good then try flashing a jumper from ground to the wire, do the park lights come on? if yes, then you need to use a relay instead of just the negative out from the brain.....
