Hey guys, my truck got broken into and they came in through my door. I was wondering if there is any type of replacement doorhandles that are more secure for these trucks? It looks as though whoever did it just jammed something into the lock cylinder and turned it, then pulled it out. There is no visible damage, but the lock cylinder was horizontal as opposed to vertical when I found the truck. Let me know if you guys have any info on some more secure replacements.

By the way, this is a 1997 Chevy Silverado.

Thanks,
Paul

You could just disconnect the lock cylinder inside the door and use a remote keyless. The downfall is you hope you never have a dead battery....
