hey all, i am sure someone out there has run in to this so any help would be appreciated. i have a 2002 fully loaded silverado, and when you get into the truck after remote start has been running it, when you turn the key to the run position and hit the brake the vehicle stays running as it should , but the dome light comes on for about 20 seconds after this and then goes out. not a big deal but a little annoying. installed is the 2 way compustar with a gmdaa module for the factory alarm and the locks and the passlock.

any suggestions, thank you in advance

That may be a software glitch in the GMDAA module. It is an older module no longer available and did go through a number of revisions/versions. I think the last version was 2.12 or something like that.

thanks for the reply sparkie, the module is actually  brand new latest version, right from the distributor. they were out of stock so they ordered me one so i do not think its an old version and is certainly redely available and used very very freqently. but i will check on the version when i have a minute. thanks again for the reply

I have a 2003 Silverado which I installed a 552T with a PLDATA module. My dome light also comes on when I hit the brake but it goes out within 3-5 seconds. Also at night if the truck is running off remote start and I unlock the doors the headlights flash instead of the parking lights.
again annoying but not that big of a deal.
