Looks like I forgot to photo the fiberglass matte. I used 3 layers of chop matte.

ahhh to p2's and whats that a 3001???nice set up,clean box...hey my girl would love to have something like that in her car..i actually like that design alot man.

Thanks for the great replies.

I haven't actually heard it yet. I had to rush to get it completed. I'm going out of town, so I have to do Xmas tonight...so I had to rush. I still plan to use packing peanuts to figure out how far off the .66 cubes I need and possibly make some adjustments internally using polyfill or similar to lower the air psace. I think I'm pretty close already.

I am using a P2002 rockford amp. The speakers are 8 ohms paralleled and the amp is bridged mono giving me 200 watts.

It should rock  !!!

Um, adding polyfill will increase the air space not take away form it. It makes the speaker think it in a larger box. I would try useing some scrap MDF then you can adjust for the needed air space. And don't for get to also take into accout the displacement of the speaker it' self. So you might already be right in the ball park.

what!? it displaces air, therefore decreases airspace.

polyfill does displace air but, it simulates a larger airspace which happens to be more then its displacement, i dont know the science resoning but i know that adding polyfill makes the sub sound like its in a bigger enclosure, wodden supports or MDF make the volume smaller
