I recently dynamated my trunk (plan on doing the rest of the car too) and now, when im outside the car, the bass is really quiet.  ive really got to trun up the bass controler way up and change the low-pass on my head unit dramaticly to even get it semi-audible. Any tips on how to fix this with out giving me an anurism?  bassis fun only when you dont feel it in the morning.

then the dynamat is doing its job, when you can hear the bass outside of the car, that means its not going to be as loud insdie the car b/c the subs are vibrating your body panels, losing energy to the outside, dymat stops this and stops rattles as well

Yes it should not be loud on the outside anymore. It should get loud on the outside when you open a door.

Umm, sedate, you didn't read this one before submitting it?

But to remedy the problem here, you must remove all that SOUND DEADENING material and invert mount those subs on the trunk lid, yo.Dynamat and sound - Last Post -- posted image.

The point is for it to be lod inside.  You're the one listening to it.  If you want the whole world to see it, then mount your woofers in the trunk lid.  You should be more worried about the sound in your car.  If someone outside wants to hear it, then let them in.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
