I started tesing wires for my install in my 01 protege,most wires are - triggers,and when testing with a DMM (testing for neg continuity) they only beep for a second,why is that so?
Resistance in the meter??

you don't need to test for continuity, you need to test for the correct polarity pulses.

A trigger is a voltage that only lasts for a fraction of a second. Digital multimeters aren't usually fast enough to display the voltage and they may only beep to indicate that they saw something but like I said they couldn't display it.

K,I been testing with voltage and its working out better,anyone have a suggestion for placement of the shock sensor??Framework inside the dash??
