Several posts I have read concerning a question or where to find a unique part, have had a reply that says something like this:
Go to Google and do a search
I found this on Google ( with an attached general web page)
Look at this link
etc...We all know How to Google - Last Post -- posted image.
While these may be generally useful, No offense but, everyone should know how to work a search engine..
More specific advise would be helpful, such as where YOU bought such a part, you are replying to give advise, Do it.
OR a specific company who sells the part with a part number. opposed to just the manufacturer of the part on a PDF file.
This would create more information for everyone..

I agree for the most part, but when you have 50 posts a day asking for information that is contained in THIS site for information pertaining to any of the active topics, it's kind of disheartening and gets under some member's skin when all the information is a click away under the SEARCH button.
Many questions can be avoided by using this search feature in this site and not everyone is computer savvy. The ability to do a search on Google or this site comes down to the ability of the member and what they are trying to accomplish.
I agree that we should try to help member's on this site as much as we can, but in the same breathe we have to show them how to use this site to their advantage............ give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, show a man how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime We all know How to Google - Last Post -- posted image.

Point Taken, you cant answer all the questions.  There is a lot of info on this site, And I enjoy it throughly ( support the12volt.com) but to counter you fisherman analogy

Some members know how to fish, some have been fishing for years.  Occassionally, if  fishing in a new area, they may not know where the fish are biting.  So they ask the wiser fisherman for advise.  These fishermen want to hear the location of a good fishing hole or what type of bait to use and the best time to fish, not "go look at the latest issue of the In Fisherman or Field and Stream"...

Here's a search for how to google.  We all know How to Google - Last Post -- posted image.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
