Yes, there is a seat and back cushion heater in each kit.
Go to Ebay and type in "seat heaters" in the search box. Many distributors sell the Heizgerat Setzt II model, which is the one I just purchased. Or you can scan down to the bottom of that listing to the Ebay stores listings and you'll find CobraHeat LLC. Personally, I'd stay away from the cheaper models they offer. The one that I believe timv22 bought is the carbon fiber model, and although I haven't installed or used any yet, from what I've gathered they beat the wire element units.

I just got back from about 50 miles in the Escape. I can now say that they are every bit as good as factory seat heaters I've experienced before.

They claim to work fine in cloth seats. They come with 2 pads which are approx. 11" wide and 14" long. They can be trimmed shorter than 14", but the width must remain 11".  They may not work in smaller seats. 11" was just right for my seat; the back fit full length, but the bottom had to have about 2" trimmed off to miss a seam in the cover. It is a thin fabric with the carbon fiber element inside and cuts easily with common sizzors.
