I just paid 4 bucks to alarmtek  over the internet for a honda wiring diagram  and it doesn't match my wiring in the new honda. Does anybody have the correct colors for my honda?  Also, I have a keyless entry. Will I have to wire my alarm  (Hornet 732) a special way?thanks

Hey Rohara,

Try this:

|              12V                   |white                    |+  |          ignition harness

|          STARTER            |BLACK/ white         |+  |     ignition harness
|         IGNITION              |BLACK / YELLOW        |+  |     ignition harness
|        ACCESSORY        |BLACK/ red             |+  |       ignition harness
| SECOND ACCESSORY|WHITE/ red          |+  |    ignition harness
|       POWER LOCK       |WHITE/ blue           |-  |      gray plug above drivers kick
|     POWER UNLOCK   |WHITE/ green        |-  |    gray plug above drivers kick
| PARKING LIGHTS +    |RED / black            |   |       back of the fusebox
| PARKING LIGHTS -     |blue                     |   |           factory alarm plug  *1
|       HEADLIGHTS         |blue/red              |-  |       headlight switch
|     DOOR TRIGGER      |  *2                       |-  |          factory alarm plug  *1
| DOME SUPERVISION comes on with unlock
|  TRUNK/HATCH PIN    |red                       |-  |           factory alarm plug  *1
|     HORN TRIGGER      |orange                 |-  |       steering column
*1 The factory alarm plug is a green plug above the drivers kick panel.

*2 The drivers door trigger is green, front passenger door trigger is lt. GREEN/ red, and the rear door trigger is GREEN / WHITE.

Also as for your keyless entry...you won`t be able to use the OEM remotes but instead use the ones that came with your Hornet.  I suggest you add relays to amplify the ground pulse to the door lock/unlock wires because the outputs of your Hornet are fed through transistors and can give you intermittent problems.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Thanks Guys for the wiring info. I forgot to ask this question - right behind the cruise control switch, there is a green plug with about 11-12 wires and  this plug isn't plugged in to anything. I noticed that I get "readings" from these wires such as lock ,unlock, windows up and down, etc.

Does anybody know what this plug is for and can I use these wires for my alarm - It is easier to get to than using the  wires behind the kick panel?

thanks
