Right guys i own a Directed 1100d mono amp and a Directed 4500 4-channel amp, my set-up at moment is 2 x directed comp x 15inch subwoofers and a pair of infinity 6x9's.

Which amp do you think is worth keeping, i prefer hard bass which sets of few car alarms lol.

Will the 4500 4channel amp handle both subs and keep the 6x9's in good nick ??

Thanks.

why not keep both amps? use the 4ch to run 6x9's , and the mono for your subs.

Deftently keep both amps then you will also have enough power to keep up with your subs so it can all blend together and not be one of those people who have all bass running with no mids because they use the deck to power them withwhich amp to keep? - Last Post -- posted image.

Depending on the impedance of the woofers (you didn't fill us in on the brand or specs of those) I would keep the 4 channel. It will offer better flexibility for the system you will have, offering 4, 3, or 2 channels of power.
None of my business, by WHY would you promise an amp to sombody to the detriment of YOUR system... that make no sense to me... Couldn't they go buy their own amp?
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

haemphyst makes a very good point.  What made you decide to give up the amp?  I wish I was your friend.  You should try to keep both the amps though.  The 4 channel amp will give you more flexibility if you only keep one amp.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
