Will I lose any sound quality ? I am trying to install my system into a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it was in a Ford pickup before, so one of the cables is short. I already have an extra two foot cable,so should I just get a couple of adapters or break down and buy the right length cable. Thanks for any help you guys can give !{/p}{p}{SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Arial'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA" target="_blank"}{SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes" target="_blank"}                                                                            {/SPAN}Bill M.{/SPAN}{/p}

You can use the connector but it is best to just get the correct size cable. If you do use the connector be sure to tape up the connections with electrical tape to insure they stay connected

RCA Cables - Last Post -- posted image. i guess ill come clean. i use to have my amp bolted to the back of my seat, but then i got another one, and built up an amp rack in my trunk, so i needed some more cable. my front and rear rca's were to short, so i just added another 3 feet of rockford cables and just wrapped the hell out of the connectiong with electrical tape. hasn't caused a problem yet, so go for it
