Alright, I have an odd situation (Maybe?).

2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport 3.3L. Added a Rattler 369D R/S. All is well except it will never start the first time and since it is my wife's car (He-he) I have yet to care until now (Installed 19 or so months ago).

Sympton:

Will ALWAYS start the second time yet never the FIRST(369D does three attempts)

Conditions:

Cold (sitting overnight)
Hot (Ran for an hour or two)
Last Summer
Winter

I hooked up the 2nd starter. ( (-) 180ohm resistor to a relay using the purple (-) 200ma second starter output of the system). It is on volts sense, I rarley ever need to use the tach sense and would hate to go through the firewall to have the same issue..

Bad R/S or did I overlook something? I have done at leat 6 other caravans from years  1998 - 2005 and never had this issue and two others had the 369D?

Any thoughts, suggestions or anyone ran into a similiar issue?  I am being nagged about fixing it..

I would recomend doing the tach pretty easy on those vans. If  I am not mistaking theres a rubber groumet right above the gas pedal.

There are two wire to hit w/ the relay pushing 180ohm (-)? I have never seen documentation to that, nor have I ever done that? Rather my car screwed than someone else's. I am only a weekend warrior, 9-5 I am a programmer.

Interesting - I guess I can hook up the tach and if it fails to start I can try that.

Thanks guys!
