attempted to hook up a Viper 160 remote start system.  I used the 457GW keyless/remote start combo interface.  On the 457GW it wants you to locate the Pass-Key 3 module. Which as stated on the sheet is ethier above the gas pedal, or behind the ac/head controls.  Looked for over an hour, and I could not find it at all.  Has anyone ran accross this problem before? or am I just not looking in the right places, or is there a shortcut around it?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is a PK3+ key, right? (the key has a plus in a circle) Then the 457 will not do the passlock bypass. You need a 556U and a blank CTS PK3+ key or customers donor key. At least the 457 does trunk pop and locks in the cts so you may want to leave it in.

You don't need to find the PK3 box.

You'll find the wire you need at the antenna ring on the key cylinder. The 457GW  WILL do the PK3, I just did one last week.
