My son had an AutoPage RF-310 installed one year ago. Up until a couple of months ago, it worked great. Now, the alarm(horn) will randomly just go off.  We've had the neighbors complain about it when we weren't home and, we finally figured out WHY his battery would be dead. Now, the door locks are "randomly" locking and unlocking whilst driving as well. We've moved a couple of hundred miles away from where it was installed and although the alarm and installation have a "lifetime" warranty for the original owner, we were wondering if anyone knows what's up with all of this and, if we can take it to an AutoPage installer around us?

THANX!

As a general rule, you'd need to take it to the original installer or someone affiliated w/ them. Most shops don't want to go behind someone else's work. Unless it was some sort of a chain...

We have done so many RF-310s, did u buy it from our shop?lol :)

I do not think I can recall ever having that unit malfunction ever!  Sounds like maybe the ground or 12v wire came loose to me.  Check those 2 connections before ruling the brain went bad.
