Hey, I have well.. a 1999 Chevy Blazer, and I want to disable JUST the DRLs not the automatic headlights (I think that's pretty sweet). I know i can throw a resistor in photocell location to kill the AHL, but i just want the DRLs gone. The dome light 4 times does not work for me... trued for quite a bit of time. I am thinking of just taking the DRL/highbeam bulb out and cutting the end of the positive input for the DRL. because thats the only time that filiment is illuminated, but i am just wondering if anyone else had any ideas. Thanks alot.

You can do several things to disable them.....  I would disrupt the relay control wire from the BCM to the DRL relay.   This would allow the LH High beam to pass through the relay.

You can easily find that wire at the BCM (which is on the passenger side, behind the glove box).  That wire is in connector C1 (brown) pin A11 (LT GREEN/ Black).
