First off, great source of knowledge and info here. I've searched and couldn't find an answer to my problem though. I am finishing up installing an 855 in an 02 Envoy for my girlfriend. I've got everything wired up and I go to program it and I can't get into programming mode. I've pulled everything back out checked and tested every wire and still can not figure out why it is not going into programming mode. I don't think the alarm is faulty as everything functions correctly even the remote start. I soldered all my connections and have done several installs with these alarms and never had this problem. I am at a loss and I know I have to be missing something simple. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as what to try?

I assume your doing the key On/Off 3 times ending with "off". Push the valet button 3 times holding in in on the 3rd push.then one small chirp and one big one.then after the chirps let go of the button. you should be in program mode. if not check and make sure the valet button is connected to the alarm brain. then make sure the alarm is "seeing" the +12volt key on/off sequence.I believe its the yellow wire that needs to see the sequence. I have only installed one of the autopage units and i cant remember which one :(
