My '04 Galant came prewired for fogs from the factory. I purchased some aftermarket fog lights and a switch. My problem is the switch wire colors.
The wires (existing wires for switch in car) are light blue, green with white stripe, black with yellow stripe, and black with silver "dots". The switch I purchased has a illustration on the back of the package showing what wires to connect to the pins. Pin #1 is for "battery or fuse box", pin #2 is for "source power wire", pin #3 is for "chassis ground."
Where does each wire connect? And why are there four wires when the switch only has three pins?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a set of OEM's 04 galant fog lights NIB I will sell you. Your car is already wired for them, all you have to do is plug the button into the harness behind the panel, and plug in the lights. Email me at xtremca2003@yahoo.com if interested. Looking for 135.00 retail is 180.00. I had to traded it in and did not give them to the dealer. Let me know. They are OEM plug and play. Plus covered under mits warranty.

I would take you up on the offer, but I already have aftermarket fogs and switch. Thanks anyway.
