Pulsing the doorpin won't leave the doors unlocked unless they were already unlocked. On W body GM cars the doors won't lock if they see the door open, a lock pulse and the ignition on, all at the same time. You must use a relay to open the wire you hook to the doorpin wire while the vehicle is running under remote start. Use ignition and the ground out when running circuit to activate the relay. Use terminals 87a and 30 to interupt the door pin pulse. Not all other GM's require a doorpin pulse to shut off the RAP feature. Leave that circuit until you have checked the operation of the starter to see if it's needed. You can also usually program most remote starters to lock the doors after shut down. In some cases the doors may not lock until it sees the dome light go out, usually a few seconds. Don't power up the Brown accessory wire in the vehicle unless it must be for proper starting. sparky
