I'm about to take delivery on an 02' Tacoma Double Cab (4 door) pickup. I'll probably just install a Crimestopper CS-2011 Alarm/Remote Start/Keyless entry system as I've had good luck with them in the past. I'm a little confused about what will need to be done in order to get this to work properly.
Power Lock gray   -   front of fuse box, 22 pin plug
Notes: These wires will test only by operating the key in the passenger door lock cylinder, not the rocker switch on the door.
Power Unlock purple   -   front of fuse box, 22 pin plug
Notes: These wires will test only by operating the key in the passenger door lock cylinder, not the rocker switch on the door.
Lock Motor blue/white   5wi DKP, 12 pin plug in pin 10
Unlock Motor blue   5wi DKP, 12 pin plug in pin 11
So is it better to tie into the individual door lock wires (gray and pruple) or to get a DLS and go directly to the motor? I've also read a few things about the child safety locks (I'll do a search again right after I post this.) Anything special need to be done here?
Door Trigger     -   front of fuse box, 22 pin plug
Notes: The driver door trigger is green, the front passenger door trigger is GREEN / WHITE, and the rear door trigger is YELLOW /GREEN. Use all three wires and diode isolate each.
Am I really tying 3 wires into 1 (the door trigger wire from the cs-2011?)
Factory Alarm Arm N/A
Factory Alarm Disarm N/A
Disarm No Unlock N/A
Diagram says no alarm but so far the posts I've read say there is? Is there a definitive answer? How do I disable it on start (alarm ground to keysense?)
Sorry if these questions have been discussed, my searches turned up some info that confused me a little (I must need sleep. '02 Tacoma, alarm/remote start -- posted image. )
Thanks.

OK think I have the locks down:
Need a DLS (these are 5-wire locks right?) and to split and isolate the unlock - to the purple and the RED / blue.
Going on my 27th without sleep.... I guess I ain't 19 anymore

The locks are simple negative pulses. Just use the gray and purple, no 5 wire, no child safety. Cahnces are there is no alarm from the factory. As for door trigger, you can use the 3, but you can also use the single domelight wire(GREEN/ black) on the back of the fuse box or in the A pillar. It will have a domelight delay there tho....

I'll give that a try.
