To the best of my knowledge, the factory deck doesn't have a remote trigger output wire. You may have to use one of the yellow accessory feed wires at the radio instead.

What exactly are you trying to do? If you are replacing the factory deck with an aftermarket one, you don't need to hook up the remote wire unless you need it to turn on an amp.

put a dmm in the connections with the factory stereo hangin out of the dash to figure out where the 12v connections are, and then make sure the one you want is remote, and not constant. i made that mistake once. hooked the amp up to the constant, then put the whole radio and console back together. after realiziing it, 45 minutes later i was done. haha, check it before you close the whole thing back in and it shouldnt be that bad. and odds are it wont mess anything up, if you are concerned, possibly put a 1 or 2 amp fuse inline with the wire your running out from it. amps remote wire doesnt ever really put much power through it, just a signal to turn on, should be fine

you can even pull out your cig lighter and splice into that for a remote. just meter it with you volt meter to fond out wich one is the right where. but before you try that try usuing you cig lighter when the key ISNT in the ignition and if does then youll need to find another remote or rig up a switch somtimes a switch is better cuz when your playing your shhh loud and you see a cop just flip the switch and the instantaly the system turnes off
