I actually use bolts sometimes instead of velcro.  Because an enclosure with the whole bottom lined with industrial strength velcro is almost impossible to remove.

See the enclosure in my sig?  It weighs close to 200lbs with the driver mounted.  Totally held in place be IS velcro.  The velcro is adhered to the bottom of the enclosure.

Have you been in an accident with that in the car? I'm just erring on the side of safety. Velcro is good for some things, but not for keeping a box from becoming a 200 lb projectile in an accident. No amount of Velcro will hold that, even the industrial stuff.
