Would anyone know how to go about making the horn chirp lighter for aftermarket R/S or K/E. I don't want a siren, but the horn is way too loud.

I know the chrylser factory K/E chirps softer when you lock the vehicle. I would like to duplicate that sound. I am unsure if it softer or shorter, hard to tell.

went through the forums and was unable to find a real answer (search horn, soft horn, chirp horn). Any thoughts.

Thanks

The pulse length has to be shortened. Some units have this ability in programming. Check your installation manual.

I checked the install guide, it appears it is unable to accomodate. DEI 562T on a 04 Ram Truck.

So I need to figure out how to shorten the output, could I use a relay?
