dude that is crazy is it actually hocked up and working in your locker. don't really no how you would get power to it. And i see you have a oscilloscope back in the corner there.
those things cast a pretty penny

Yeah, that picture was taken in our electronics shop, and nobody is quite sure what the oscilloscopes do other that flash or blink haha. Back to the topic at hand though, I have a sealed 12 volt battery in behind the panel that feeds the deck, and I just run the speakers off of there (the sub is a pyle pos so I didnt even bother running an amp to it) and it is comepletely self contained and functional. I even have a switch hooked up to the ignition wire for a quick way to cut power.

i put a system in my locker, it was a simple one. a deck and a pair of speakers and a battery on the floor of the locker.  the vice principle gave me a week to get it out of there once he spotted it.

nice if i did that the hole school would be rattling cause i would go overboard and put a monstrous sub and speakers in there. that oscilloscope will come in handy when you are trying to find the gain setting for amps. also to trouble shoot the amps to see if there is a voltage swing problem with them. they are extremely expensive.

Thanks for all the props guys! I could have done so much more with the sub, but since its a 20 dollar driver and theres no amp, I didnt bother going overboard and its just running free air. I might build a low pass x-over to take the highs out of it, but the sub is more fashion than function anyways. In any case, it gets more than loud enough to get me in troubleMy unique glass project -- posted image.
