Hi,

I have a 2002 windstar limited that came with factory 6disc headunit , VCP, and flip down monitor. I replaced the head w/ alpine iva-d300 & damaged the factory one in the process.... Now I am getting rid of the van . My question is: will the VCP, and flip down work with any ford head unit for that year van, or does it have to be the same exact 6 disc?

well if its a 6 disc then its a double din. does the flip down have a self loaded dvd player or is the 6 disc changer a dvd player ?¿? but yea you could use a diff factory radio in that van the only thing you need to worry about is , is that are thre facorty harness gonna line up in the same holes and if the mounting holes are the same and yea then your all set. keep me posted

Kool thank for the reply.. I solved my problem....I was trading in a car but didnt wanna give up my head unit...So I took the head out of the new car (2002 Expedition) and put it in the old car (2002 Windstar) works like a charm.
