Time to check the local pawn shops.
Just because you've done something for a long time doesn't mean you're any good at it.

Can you file it with your insurance? Sorry to hear this kind of news anytime. State Farm covers theft.

actually i dont think ive got full covrg on the truck.   hrmm    either way its not really worth the insurance hike for what was in there.  coupole of subs amps and headunit.  didnt take the compoinets or any of the interior speakers/wiring.   be a good base to start over.

glag to see admin cleaned this thread up.  thanks guys.  this has always been a good forum to browse.

I have had lots of experience with State farm. The local thugs got me twice in 2 years. The best advice is this:

1. save your boxes and manuals

2. take lots of digital pictures with a date stamp on them or the front page of a newspaper to show the date

3. receipts. I know it is hard, but save them

4. Let your agent know you have the stuff in your car.

The first time I got burned, the second i did all of the above and was covered full tilt after my deductable.

good luck

usually in this small town high end or even low end equipment is locateable b/c depending on the combination somebody will eventually take it somewhere to get it hooked up. example--- 2 memphis amps and 2 jl subs coming in at the same tme with the model head unit is easy to spot most local shops will be glad to keep an eye out for whatever combination of stuff u had. of course down here most shops try to get along.
