Looking to purchase some new 15" subs for my truck. Id like them to be used in SPL comp and also have a little sound quality to them as well. Around $1200 is what i can afford. i have a 2000 tahoe limited (old body). i would prefer not to have a wall. i have an orion Beast in the truck with 2 optima yellow tops, 4 power caps, and 1awg power and grounds all the way through.any suggestions? thanks
Im that thing that goes bump in the night.

Unless you're running massive amounts of power  2 DD 3515s' would sound very good/loud .. Also a  little cheaper than the 9500 series. Nice thing about 9500s' though is that you can get em' upgraded to 9900 series woofers for about 350-380 dollars each in the future if you decide to do so...

I have looked at those eclipse ones but they are about 900 each. is there a lesser version that is still alright? and good point about upgrading on the 9500s at a later time, i didnt know that they did that. One more question.. As well as having that orion beast amp i also have 2 lanzar optidrive 2500's. my buddy is telling me they are the real nice ones cause they are a few years old. What do you think would be the better choice if making an SPL vehicle. and what do yall think about the Mmats juggernaut/dreadnaut line?

well if you are looking for a good mix of sq and spl i would go with dayton audio titanlic mkIII's i have one and it is only being powered by 380 watts rms and it is LOUD. these subs can take 800 watts rms. you can get them at parts express  for 175 a pease. they are home and car audio subs. they need a big box though but i think you have the space to spare. and the one i have is in my room and it is still LOUD even with all the space it has to take up.

I believe they say that amp is 250 x 2 @ 4ohms, but it actually ends up putting out well over 1,000 rms bridged @ 4ohms.
