making a LOC, what is required?

hey. i am wondering how to make a LOC. obviously there is some sort of resistance. and some sort of limiting factor. are there diodes? does anyone know what is involved in making them? or is it more complicated than i am guessing. i have mine burried in my dash, and one of my friends needs one, i am wondering if it is just something i can whip up in a half hour or something? thanks alot, also how do they figure how many watts they can handle?99 Blazer LT.   Yellow Top. You should still just buy one, or have your friend buy one in this case. Take a look at it and mess around when you don't actually need one.Certified Security Specialist
