Maybe they have a radio station transmitter, or a bunch of cell towers?  If I go to the top of the mountain near my house, there are about 100 tv/radio antennas up there.  They overpower the remote and the alarm can't detect the signal.

At my work we use Audiovox, but I remember we had a customer with the same problem. We all at first just thought it was a defective customer, until they sent me to her workplace parking garage and I saw it for myself.
What is the antenna on your Python like? Is it mounted to the windshield?
The system in my customer's car was just a basic alarm/keyless, and all the antenna consisted of was a length of wire. (Since it's not a remote start, great range is not needed.)
Anyway, we pulled that alarm out, and upgraded her to an alarm/remote start combo unit, with a long-range windshield-mount antenna, and everything was fine after that.
Are you the installer? Is the campus far away? What kind of alarm do you have in your personal car(s)? Maybe you can take a ride over there, and if your system works, install that brand/model in your customer's car.
