i have  just installed a ccs-100 into my 05 ford focus zx3, everything works upto to 42 mph then it shuts itself down. i cant set anything above that speed either. i think i have the right VSS wire and there should be enough vacuum at higher rpm. to test that i left it in first and took it up to 30 and it worked. the tach is my only question. i tied in to one of the leads going into the coils( it has coils over every plug). any hints, tips ,ideas would be apreseated greatly.

You may need a Vacuum Resivoir......but it sounds like Throttle slack
Check the slack in your Throttle hook-up.......need approx. 1/8 inch no more

Did you ever get your cruise working? I just put the same kit on my 05 focus and it dosen't work at all. I installed a ford tach driver for the tach signal and think I have the proper VSS wire. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

I try not to hookup tach on cruises whenever possible. More times than not it messes things up. I would start there.
