my question isn't really all that technical but i figured i would ask it. i have a 1997 honda accord with the viper 791 remote start alarm. when the shop installed the alarm (i know always DIY, but i don't know anything about alarms) the shop put the valet switch right under the steering wheel. I'm a tall guy and sometimes my legs hit the switch that sets it from the armed mode to the valet mode. wellon new years my sister was being the DD and she scooted the seat up too much. when i got in the car in the morning (i was driving then) i forgot she scooted the seat up and i hit the switch with my leg so hard it broke the switch. the part you push in order to set it to valte or armed mode. i was wondering if i were to take it to the shop who installed it could they replace it? obviously it would cost some money but i was wondering if they can do it and what i should expect?

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
